Influence of the additive on the interface of diesel fuel - water
Diesel fuel does not mix with water and does not dissolve water. At the interface between water and diesel, an emulsion may form, especially when the fuel contains a biocomponent in the form of FAME or is long stored. The MULTISSOL1000 additive does not increase the affinity of diesel fuel for water, while it significantly accelerates the release of water after it has been mixed with fuel (the results of studies on the impact of water-diesel oil interface additives carried out according to ASTM D1094 are presented in Table 4).
