LUBRIKSOL - Impact of Lubriksol additive on diesel fuel
Lowering sulfur content in diesel fuels worsens one of the most important features of good fuel - lubricity. This property determines the kinetics of wear of power system components, injection pumps, atomizers and unit injectors.
The improvement of lubricating properties of diesel fuel, in particular low sulfur ones, is achieved by introducing special additives, such as LUBRIKSOL.
LUBRIKSOL contains substances soluble in fuel that form a lubricating layer on the metal elements of the power system. It protects the precise elements of injection equipment, reduces wear and thus significantly extends their life. The same lubricating layer provides excellent corrosion protection for the entire fuel system of the diesel engine.
LUBRIKSOL is completely ash-free burnt with diesel and the lubricating layer is renewed with an addition flowing in with the fuel.
LUBRIKSOL is an ecological, sulfur-free, lubricating additive, showing high efficiency in improving the lubricity of diesel oils and does not change other physicochemical and fuel properties, such as ignition temperature, sulfur content, cetane number. LUBRIKSOL is essentially dosed to a diesel fuel in a ratio of 1: 1000. The effectiveness of LUBRIKSOL as a lubricity additive was found in laboratory tests carried out using the HFRR apparatus (ISO 12156-1) verified by positive opinions of users. Based on the obtained results, it was found that in the case of diesel fuel, even with very low natural lubricity, the use of LUBRIKSOL in a ratio of 1: 1000 allows for achieving lubrication, exceeding the requirements of the standard (PN-EN 590).
