AQUAGASOL

Technical characteristics of the product

AQUAGASOL

Additive (solubilizing) to LPG, increasing the solubility of water in fuel; prevents and permanently removes turbidity caused by the presence of water.

  • AQUAGASOL - Toxic and fire characteristics

    Methanol: NDS: 100 mg/m3, NDSCh: 300 mg/m3

    Explosive limits: 5,5 % obj. - 36,5 % obj.

Vapor pressure at 20oC: 125 hPa

    Vapor density versus air: 1,11

    Extinguishing media

Suitable: carbon dioxide, extinguishing powders, foams, dispersed water currents

Improper for reasons of efficiency: compact water jets

  • AQUAGASOL - The effect of AQUAGASOL on LPG

AQUAGASOL acts by solubilizing water molecules dissolved or dispersed in the fuel. The active part of the preparation physically binds water to form an adduct that is perfectly soluble in hydrocarbons, even at very low temperatures. The strength of water binding by AQUAGASOL increases as the temperature of the fuel decreases, and thus the fuel is not turbid.
